How do I stop a caregiver from receiving notifications or being tracked for compliance?

Update the caregiver’s status or remove their role assignment in Homecare Pro.

Full Answer:

Homecare Pro relies on caregiver status and role assignment to determine who should be tracked for compliance and receive notifications.

If you want to stop a caregiver from receiving notifications or being tracked you can do one of two things:

Update their Status:
Update the caregiver’s status as relevant (e.g. inactive, on hold, rejected).

  • If you use AxisCare or WellSky, you need to update their status in your EMR, and we will sync that status in Homecare Pro.

  • If you use a different EMR, you can update the caregiver status directly in Homecare Pro.

Remove their Role:
Navigate to the caregiver profile and remove their assigned Role to pause compliance tracking. Once a caregiver has no active role, they will no longer receive task reminders or be tracked against compliance requirements.

If you’re unsure which statuses are tracked or need help disabling compliance tracking for a specific individual, feel free to reach out to support.
